MIRO GLADOVIC

Founder & CEO, Sports Agent

Miro G2

Miro has had an exemplary and diverse career in sports that spans 20 years, three decades, and various codes of sports and football. Starting out in 1997, Miro became the youngest registered FIFA Players’ Agent in the world at the time of his accreditation. Miro was one of the original soccer sports agents in Australia, and was instrumental in establishing Australia’s successful soccer talent pathway to the elite leagues of Europe.

Miro’s successful career as a FIFA Agent in Europe spanned 10 years, and in this time being based in Germany, Miro represented some of the most elite international soccer stars in the world, including numerous national team players from Australia, Germany, and Croatia. Miro worked closely with coaches and scouts, and brokered player transfers and contracts with many of the top soccer teams in Europe, including Bayer Leverkusen, Hertha Berlin, Liverpool, and Manchester United, to name just a few.

Since moving to the United States, Miro has worked with several elite sports organizations, franchises and team owners. Inspired by the enormous talent pool that emerges yearly from the NCAA, as well as players that are released yearly by the NFL and NBA, Miro identified an opportunity to harness the world class talent of these gifted American athletes searching for new professional opportunities, and parlay their skills to Australian Football.

Miro created American Footy Star with the intention of cultivating the abundance of American talent available post NCAA, NFL and NBA, and establish a new talent pathway to the Australian Football League. Miro’s vision is to infuse the AFL with an American flare to the great game of footy, and enable Australian professional teams to have access to American talent at the click of their mouse on their computer keyboard, and remove the headache, logistics, and costs of scouring the vast and expansive US sports player talent marketplace, in the hope of unearthing and securing great American footy talent.
