What is American Footy Star?

American Footy Star is a unique and groundbreaking talent recruitment vehicle, set up to bridge the gap between the vast American talent pool of great athletes, and Australian football, known as Footy to its millions of fans down under, and internationally.

For the first time ever, the sporting borders between the U.S. and Australia will be bridged together with the launch of American Footy Star (AFS), an audacious and groundbreaking, new, athletic talent search.

Sports Agent Miro Gladovic has identified the United States as the most important scouting region for Australia for the foreseeable future. To date there has been no American to conquer the sport of footy, and this has been the inspiration for Miro creating American Footy Star.

Miro's vision is to not only recruit one American Footy Star, but to populate the Australian Football League with dozens of American footy players in the coming years, and add an American flare to the already great game of Australian Football, cultivating the great athleticism, and skill sets of the countless American athletes who graduate from the greatest sporting production line in the world, the NCAA.

Home Middle #1 Widget

This is a widgeted area which is called Home Middle #1. It is using the Genesis - Featured Page widget to display what you see on the Enterprise child theme demo site. To get started, log into your WordPress dashboard, and then go to the Appearance > Widgets screen. There you can drag the Genesis - Featured Page widget into the Home Middle #1 widget area on the right hand side. To get the image to display, simply upload an image through the media uploader on the edit post screen and publish your page. The Featured Page widget will know to display the post image as long as you select that option in the widget interface.
